Jalal ad-Din as-Suyuti

Imam Jalal ad-Din as-Suyuti was a towering ninth century Egyptian scholar and is considered the reviver of his era. He travelled extensively to gather hadith, including Morocco, Chad, Syria, the Hjiaz, Yemen and even India.
