Substantial, diamond shape beads made from genuine Kuk. Possibly the most legendary and highly sought-after material for quality tasbihs, Kuk is appreciated all across the Muslim world and has been used for centuries. An incredibly hard, round nut is first painstakingly cut into cubes, then drilled and carved into beads, sometimes using diamond-edged tools. Characteristically light brown to amber in color, Kuk beads tend to darken with use and acquire a brilliant luster. Beads measure approximately 10 x 10mm. Strung with 99 beads in the Ottoman style.
