About The Author

(Shaykh) Mohammad Asad was born in the West Midlands, and he attended regular schooling until he enrolled in a full time Islamic school.

At the age of 13, he memorised the Quran and travelled to various countries to lead Taraweeh Prayers. He completed his GCSE’s and started a full time Islamic Theology and Arabic course, which consisted of Arabic Syntax, Etymology and Grammar, Logic, Quranic Exegesis, Hadith Exegesis, Comparative Religions, Islamic Jurisprudence of the four main schools of thought, Foundations of Jurisprudence, Quran and Hadith, and other subjects. He also studied the ten different types of Qira’ah of the Qur’an which is recited globally.

After extensive studying for approximately twelve years, he successfully graduated with a Masters in Islamic Theology and Arabic from the world renowned famous Islamic University in India.

Since then, he has worked as an Imam, Minister of Religion and worked in various fields of education as a teacher, tutor and Head Teacher and is currently a Deputy Head of a primary and secondary school in the West Midlands.

He has given lectures and speeches on many different subjects and has compiled and authored various publications.
