About The Book

The Prophet of Islam has long been misrepresented, perhaps more than any other figure in the history of religious movements. Likewise, Islam itself is often one of the most misunderstood faiths, particularly in the West. What may be the most profound distortion is the prevailing belief that "religious faith" means believing without evidence or worse, believing despite evidence. As Richard Dawkins claims, it's faith that contradicts reason and proof. But is that really the case?

This book is a thoughtful, measured attempt to challenge these misconceptions. Through reason, history, and science, it seeks to uncover the true character of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, explore the message of the Quran, and ultimately test the authenticity of Islam. Is Islam a blind leap of faith, or is it a belief system deeply rooted in compelling evidence that harmonizes intellect and revelation?

The reader is invited to embark on this journey with three guiding principles:

Seek the truth honestly, following the evidence wherever it may lead.

Embrace courage to confront the difficult questions, as this book addresses nearly all the critical objections raised against Muhammad's prophethood.

Step out of the 21st century and shed the cultural biases of our modern world. Let your mind, heart, and soul transport you back to the 7th century, where you will experience Muhammad's message as though you were living amongst the very people who first heard it.

As you turn each page, you will come to understand why setting aside contemporary illusions is key to discovering the truth.

"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - (John 8:32)

About The Author

Sami Ameri is a prolific Tunisian scholar known for his extensive work in analyzing and critically engaging with atheism, as well as academic and polemical studies of Islam, the Prophet Muhammad, the Qur'an, and Islamic law. His scholarship is marked by a focus on comparative studies between Islam and Christianity, meticulously examining original texts in their native languages and drawing upon the most recent and rigorous academic research.

In his writings, Ameri advocates for mature, thoughtful dialogue, guided by the Qur'anic principles of respectful engagement: “And argue with them in a way that is best” (Surah An-Nahl, 16:125), “Say, ‘Bring forth your proof, if you are truthful’” (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:111), “Say, ‘I advise you of one thing: that you stand for Allah, in pairs or individually, and then reflect’” (Surah Saba, 34:46), and “And what is there after truth but error?” (Surah Yunus, 10:32).
