About The Author

Shaykh ʿAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī (470–561 AH) was a renowned Ḥanbalī jurist, spiritual master, and the founder of the Qādirī path. Born in Jīlān and educated in Baghdad, he became known for his deep piety, powerful sermons, and compassionate guidance. His teachings emphasized sincerity, reliance on Allah, and reviving the Prophetic way. Revered as Sultān al-Awliyāʾ, he shaped centuries of Islamic spirituality.
