Afreen Hoque

Afreen Hoque is a pediatric dentist and children's author based on the East Coast of the United States. Born and raised by Bangladeshi parents in Central New Jersey, she collaborated with her sister Naureen to create the Live and Learn with Nadia and Ali series, a collection of children's books exploring Islamic values and history in the context of everyday family life. The sisters were motivated by a desire to grow closer to Allah and to provide their own children with stories that weave Islamic identity into relatable daily experiences. Family Goals and Make A Splash are part of this series.
