Shaykh Ahmed Saad al-Azhari is an Egyptian-British scholar, writer, teacher, speaker, and poet who hails from a scholarly family whose lineage extends back to the Prophet ﷺ. He memorized the Qur'an at an early age and received his foundation in traditional Islamic sciences under his father, alongside formal studies at al-Azhar University in Cairo, from which he graduated in Islamic studies. After migrating to the United Kingdom, he occupied a number of posts before founding Ihsan Institute for Arabic and Islamic Studies. He holds authorisation (ijazah) to teach a range of texts, including the works he has studied directly with their authors. He is also the author of 'Al-Badiah Nazm al-Awamil al-Mi'ah' and 'Contemplating the Qur'an: A Thematic Thirty-Part Commentary on the Noble Qur'an.' He continues to teach internationally and resides in the UK.
