Aysenur Gunes

Aysenur Gunes is a Turkish author, editor, and creator of Islamic educational materials for children. Born on 3 October 1987 in Istanbul, she studied Television and Cinema at Istanbul University, graduating in 2010. She began her professional life as an intern at Yumurcak TV, a well-known children's television channel in Turkey, but soon found her vocation in children's books, drawn to the enduring and expressive nature of the medium. She has since authored a series of activity books for young Muslim children published by the Islamic Foundation UK under the Discover Islam Sticker Activity Books imprint. Her titles include the Makkah and Madinah Activity Book, Mosques of the World Activity Book, All About Prayer (Salah) Activity Book, All About Wudu (Ablution) Activity Book, and Ramadan and Fasting Activity Book. The series combines coloring, puzzles, dot-to-dot drawings, and sticker activities to teach children about Islamic worship and sacred places in an engaging, hands-on format.
