Hira Khan is the creator and founder of Birth Keeper, an organization providing Doula Services in the Toronto area and Prenatal Education to the global Muslim community since 2009. A Canadian-trained Labor Doula, she brings a holistic and natural approach to her practice, drawing on her background in Alternative Medicine. She has traveled and studied at numerous birthing centers around the world, and has been mentored by several influential teachers in the field. Beyond her doula work, Hira is a teacher by profession and an author of Islamic children's books. Her books include 'Love at First Sight: A Father's Tale of Loss and Love', written from her family's personal journey, and 'A Gift from Jannah'. She resides in the Mississauga/Milton, Ontario area.
