Lutfi al-Nufoury

Dr. Lutfi al-Nufoury is a physician and poet whose creative work brings together the precision of clinical observation and the depth of spiritual reflection. "The Mercy of Night" is his second poetry collection, composed in the aftermath of his father's death and born of his personal journey of spiritual return. The collection has been commended by Shaykh Ahmed Saad Al-Azhari, who contributed the foreword, describing the poems as "raw and truthful, loud and silent, speaking to the soul and invoking reflection." Dr. al-Nufoury's dual vocation as healer and poet gives his verse a distinctive character that unites the visible and interior dimensions of human experience.
