Mona Ebrahim holds a degree in Film, TV, and Video from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Her professional work spans an unusually broad creative range - videography, photography, video editing, graphic design, screenwriting, and prose writing - earning her a self-described reputation as a 'Jill of All Trades.' Before turning her focus to writing and visual arts, she worked as a clothing designer. She is a mother of four children and remains active in her community through teaching and lecturing. Her book '101 Reasons Why I'm Glad I Wear Hijab' draws on personal experience to present the hijab from a positive, celebratory perspective for Muslim women.
