About
Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Buzaydi rahimahullah was among the foremost disciples of Shaykh Mawlay al-'Arabi al-Darqawi (d. 1239 AH / 1823 CE), the Moroccan saint who established the Darqawiyya, a revivalist branch of the Shadhiliyya Sufi order. Al-Buzaydi played a significant role in preserving and disseminating the Darqawi spiritual method across Morocco and beyond. His works address the inner dimensions of the path, instructing sincere seekers in the adab - the proper conduct, station, and orientation - required of one who aspires to nearness to Allah. 'The Adab of the True Seeker' stands as a testament to the practical and inward emphasis that characterizes the Darqawi tradition.
