About
Mufti Muhammad Sajaad hafidhahullah is a British Muslim scholar born and raised in Birmingham, UK. He studied Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Leeds before dedicating himself fully to the Islamic sciences, pursuing advanced studies at Dar Uloom Karachi in Pakistan and Darul Uloom Bury in the United Kingdom, where he graduated as an Alim in 2003. He then completed the Ifta (the higher qualification in legal opinion) at Darul Uloom Blackburn. As part of his undergraduate Arabic studies, he also attended Dar al-Mustafa in Tarim, the celebrated center of knowledge in Hadramaut, Yemen. Further broadening his academic formation, he earned an MA in Islamic Finance from the Markfield Institute of Higher Education in Leicester. He has contributed to As-Suffa Institute, where he established Day Intensive courses focused on classical Islamic sciences. He is the author of The Fiqh of Dawah: A Commentary on 40 Hadiths, and has written various articles on contemporary issues affecting Muslims.
