The series introduces young readers to the intellectual and spiritual lives of towering figures in the Islamic scholarly tradition. Hashemi illustrated three volumes in the series: Al-Ghazali: When Cotton Touches Flame (volume 1), Ibn Sina: In Pursuit of the Flying Man, and Ibn Tufayl: Alone on the Island of One's Mind (volume 4). Her visual work across the series uses a range of techniques and materials, creating imagery that is both engaging for children and faithful to the richness of the subjects' historical settings. The series has been distributed internationally through major Islamic book retailers.
