Naureen Hoque

Naureen Hoque is a lawyer and children's book author who grew up in Central New Jersey in a Bangladeshi Muslim household. Together with her sister Afreen, a pediatric dentist based on the East Coast, she co-authored the 'Live and Learn with Nadia and Ali' picture book series, which includes 'Family Goals' (PRO091) and 'Make A Splash' (PRO092). The sisters were motivated by a desire to draw closer to Allah and to provide their own children with stories that weave Islamic values and history into the fabric of everyday life. The series reflects their shared commitment to raising Muslim children with a grounded, faith-centered identity. Naureen currently lives on the West Coast.
