Nelly Elmenshawy

Nelly Elmenshawy is an educator turned children's author based in the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania. A mother of five, she brings years of hands-on storytelling experience from raising her family. Her love for aqida (Islamic theology), inspired by classes with Dr. Umar Faruq Abd-Allah, became the motivation behind her debut children's book, 'Sun and Moon: A Conversation about God', published by Ihya Young People. The book introduces children to foundational theological concepts through gentle narrative. She lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and children.
