Nimah Nawwab

Nimah Ismail Nawwab is a poet, editor, photographer, lecturer, and youth empowerment leader from Saudi Arabia. Her previous poetry collection, The Unfurling, was published in the United States in 2004 and was listed as a best-seller in poetry. She has contributed to numerous international publications, with work featured at major media outlets including Newsweek, The Washington Post, BBC World News, and the Asian Age. Nawwab continues to deliver workshops on poetry composition, appreciation, and critiquing, as well as on creative writing and journalism. She also lectures on a range of subjects - including poetry, the Middle East, and women and youth empowerment - at venues across the globe. Her collection Canvas of the Soul: Mystic Poems from the Heartland of Arabia represents her engagement with the spiritual poetic tradition of Arabia.
