Shaykh Noor Mohammad ar-Ra'ee

Shaykh Noor Mohammad ar-Ra'ee hafidhahullah is a world-renowned reciter of the Qur'an, teacher of tajwid, judge at Qur'an competitions, and leading expert on the Noorani program. He is the grandson of Sheikh Noor, the original author of the Noorani Qa'idah. Having taught tajwid and recitation for over twenty-five years, Shaykh ar-Ra'ee holds more than five ijazas with unbroken chains of transmission traced back to the Prophet ﷺ. Among his teachers are Sheikh Hudhaify, Ibrahim al-Akhdar, Muhammad Tamim az-Zu'bi (Madina), Fath Muhammad (East Asia), Sayyed Laasheen, Abdur Rasheed ar-Ra'ee, Ahmad Ahmad Saeed, Muhammad Ahmed Ma'bad, Abdur Rahim al-'Ilmi (a student of Sheikh Ahmad Zayyat of Egypt), and Sheikh Abdul Aziz Oyuun as-Sood through Sheikh Muhammad Tamim az-Zu'bi of Shaam.
