About
Osman Nuri Topbas, hafidhahullah, is a Turkish Islamic scholar, author, and spiritual guide associated with the Naqshbandi-Khalidi tradition. His written works span Islamic spirituality, history, and classical literature. Among his notable contributions is a biography of Imam Ahmad al-Sirhindi (d. 1624 CE), the Naqshbandi master known as Mujaddid Alf Thani (Reviver of the Second Millenium), a work that draws on the Maktubat and the broader Naqshbandi hagiographical tradition. He has also translated selections from the Mathnawi of Jalal al-Din Rumi into accessible form for contemporary readers. His scholarship is oriented toward the transmission of classical Sufi teachings within a traditional Sunni framework.
