Rui Diogo is a multi-award-winning researcher, speaker, and writer known for addressing broad scientific and societal questions through empirical data drawn from multiple fields. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Aveiro, Portugal, and a PhD from the University of Liege, Belgium, followed by postdoctoral research at King's College London and further graduate degrees at George Washington University. He has published more than 150 papers in leading journals and authored over 20 books, including "Learning and Understanding Human Anatomy and Pathology," "Evolution Driven by Organismal Behavior" (among the ten best evolutionary books of 2017), and "Meaning of Life, Human Nature, and Delusions." His research and lectures have taken him to over 120 countries.
