Saad al-Ghamdi (b. 1387 AH / 1967 CE) is a Saudi Qur'an reciter and imam, born in Dammam in 1967. He completed his memorization of the Qur'an in 1990 at the age of twenty-two and graduated from the College of Sharia at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University in al-Ahsa. He served as a teacher until 1995 and then as an educational supervisor for Islamic education in Dammam until 2003. He is among the most widely heard reciters of his generation, with complete recordings of the Qur'an distributed internationally and broadcast by television and radio. His recitation is recognized for its measured pace and careful observance of the rules of tajweed. His recordings include recitations of individual chapters, among them Surah Maryam and Surah Yusuf.
