Sa'diyya Nesar holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Hong Kong University. Following her undergraduate studies, she pursued Islamic studies and worked as a writer for multiple publications, including HuffPost. Drawing on her experience living with physical disabilities, she became an international speaker and a TEDx speaker, delivering talks on how to derive strength from adversity, using examples from Islamic history. She was selected as RESOLVE's social justice 2020 fellow for the 'DisABILITIES: less assumptions, more conversations' initiative in Hong Kong. She is currently developing the 'Community Care in Islam' series in Hong Kong and also pursues poetry. Her book 'Strength from Within,' published through Kube Publishing, offers personal insights on coping and flourishing during difficult times.
