About
Sahar Abdel-Aziz is a contemporary author of Islamic books for children, writing in English for young Muslim readers, their parents, and their teachers. Her work pairs instruction in faith with storytelling and hands-on activity, aiming to make core Islamic ideas approachable for elementary-age children. Among her best-known titles is "All About Allah," which introduces children to their Creator through readings, exercises, and activities, part of an "All About" series that also includes "All About Prophet Musa" and "All About Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)." She is also recognized for "Ramadan Stories," a collection of thirty short stories drawn from the firsthand experiences of young Muslims, designed to be read one per day across the month so that children can explore the traditions, values, and customs of Ramadan through the words and illustrations of their peers. Her other books include "Islamic Poems," a set of verses meant to give both Muslim and non-Muslim readers a glimpse of Islam, and "Islamic Arts and Crafts Projects," which brings learning into creative, practical activity. Written for both home and classroom settings, her books are part of a wider movement of accessible, English-language Islamic education for Muslim families in the West. Little is publicly documented about her life beyond her published work.
