Sandi Towers-Romero holds a Juris Doctor from Western State University College of Law (now Westcliff University) and has built a career spanning law, education, and children's writing. As a student at Arizona State University, she taught 5th and 6th grade math and science. She received her Water Safety Instructor certification at age 17 and has taught hundreds of children to swim. After law school, she served as editor of Speaking of Legal Aid, a publication of Orange County, California's Legal Aid Society. She teaches law and college success courses at Florida SouthWestern State College in Fort Myers, Florida, and has taught at Florida Southern College and South Florida Community College, and lectured at the University of California, Irvine. She has authored four law textbooks: Essentials of Florida Real Estate Law; Media and Entertainment Law; Law and the Hospitality Industry; and a fourth title. She has also written children's picture books including Sandi and the Ladybug and Penny the Penguin.
