Sara Swetzoff served as assistant editor for the journal Sociology of Islam and was a PhD student in the African Studies program at Howard University. She worked as co-editor on Jesus Son of Mary in the Qur'an and According to the Teachings of Ibn Arabi, engaging with scholarship at the intersection of Islamic studies and academic social inquiry.
