Shaykh Uthman Taha hafidhahullah is a Syrian Islamic calligrapher celebrated for his exceptional mastery of Arabic calligraphy. He is best known for his transcription of the Qur'an in the Naskh script, which has been widely adopted in published Mushafs across the Islamic world. In addition to his calligraphic work, he compiled Qasaid Mukhtara fi Hubb Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, an anthology bringing together selected Arabic poems in praise of the Prophet ﷺ from the classical and contemporary tradition of Islamic devotional poetry.
