His research focuses on hadith (the Prophetic traditions) and particularly in the field of Tibb al-Nabawi (the medicine of the Prophet). He is the author of various books including The Virtues of the Holy Qur'an.

About the author

Ayhan Tekines: Dr. Ayhan Tekines is a professor of theology at Hena e Plote Beder University in Tirana, Albania, where he holds the position of Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Prior to his current role, he taught at several schools of theology in Turkey. His scholarly research centers on hadith - the traditions of the Prophet ﷺ - and in particular the field of Tibb al-Nabawi, the medicine of the Prophet ﷺ. He is the author of various books, among them The Virtues of the Holy Qur'an, and his work An Introduction to Hadith offers accessible engagement with the hadith sciences for a general readership.
