Anatolian Oak grows near the Mediterranean coast in Southern Turkey. It is very dense and close grained with little to no open pores, which makes for a shiny surface on the beads after continued use. The color varies from light to dark brown with black lines and streaks. These beads are crafted with the traditional oval (Beyzi) shape for fluid movement through the fingers.
