A.M Ramzy: A.M. Ramzy is a British-born poet and writer who holds a degree from Oxford University, where she studied classical and modern Arabic and Persian literature. Her academic formation deepened a love of poetry she had nurtured from an early age. A period of residence in Damascus in 2010 proved transformative, inspiring her to give voice to her own poetic work. The fruit of that experience is Brewing Storms, her debut collection of poems, published by Daybreak Press International. The collection reflects her grounding in both classical literary tradition and the lived realities of the contemporary Muslim world.
