About The Book

Twins Eldar and Elnur are Uyghurs, born and raised in Paris. They didn’t know much about where their ancestors came from, as the Uyghur homeland no longer existed as a country.

One day, their mom gifted them special Uyghur hats called doppas. Little did they know, these hats held a special secret—they would take them on an extraordinary trip to Doppaland. Doppaland is a breathtaking world of Turkic ancestry and fairy tales spanning Europe and Asia. It’s a dreamland of towering mountains with glaciers, lush evergreen forests, vibrant meadows, and whispering dunes. It’s a land of Silk Road oases filled with bustling bazaars, festive celebrations, ancient ruins, and timeless traditions that inspire the modern world.

Join Eldar and Elnur as they embark on this magical adventure, discovering Doppaland and joyfully embracing their Uyghur identity.
