About The Author

Shaykh Abd al-Qadir Isa Diyab (1336-1411 AH / 1917-1991 CE) was a Syrian scholar of Aleppo, a Shadhili Sufi shaykh, and a prolific defender of the traditional Sunni-Sufi heritage in twentieth-century Syria. His Haqaiq has been translated into multiple languages and remains one of the standard contemporary introductions to Sunni Sufism for readers approaching the tradition for the first time.
