About the author

Mustafa Ozcelik: Mustafa Ozcelik is a Turkish poet and novelist recognized for his contributions to both adult and children's literature. He received the Poet of the Year award in Turkey on two occasions, first from Suffe Publishers in 1984 and subsequently from Genclik Dergisi (Journal of Youth) in 1997. His work in children's fiction also earned him the Novelist of the Year award from the Turkish Association of Children's Literature and Children's Artists in 2004. Among his works published in English is Nasreddin Hodja: Eponym for Wit and Wisdom, a title devoted to the celebrated figure of Anatolian folk humor and wisdom.
