Taybat al-Ghara fi Madh Sayyid al-Anbiya is one of Yusuf al-Nabhani's most beloved poetic odes in praise of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Composed in the late-Ottoman tradition of madih nabawi — the long Sunni heritage of poetry honouring the Prophet — the ode draws on the same scriptural and devotional sources that animate al-Busiri's Burda and Hamziyya, while carrying the distinctive register of Nabhani's voice: confident, syrupy, deeply learned in the hadith of the Prophet's noble qualities, unembarrassed by its love.

Recited in mawlid gatherings and in private devotional settings, the ode is part of the broader corpus of Nabhani's madih poetry that constitutes one of the most extensive bodies of Sunni-Sufi devotional verse in modern history.

About The Author

Imam Yusuf b. Ismail al-Nabhani (1265-1350 AH / 1849-1932 CE) was a Palestinian Hanafi judge who served in the courts of Beirut under the late Ottoman empire. He devoted his enormous literary energy to defending and propagating the traditional Sunni-Sufi heritage in an age of rising reformist challenge — composing dozens of works in salawat, istighatha, manaqib, and theological defense.

"طيبة الغرّاء في مدح سيّد الأنبياء" قصيدةٌ من قصائد المديح النبوي للإمام يوسف بن إسماعيل النبهاني. صِيغت في تَقْليد المديح النبوي السنّي الكلاسيكي، وتستمدّ من المصادر النصّية والوجدانية التي تَحْيَا بها بُرْدَة البوصيري وهمزيّته، مع خصوصية صوت النبهاني: ثقةٌ بِشَكْلٍ، وحلاوة في الإلقاء، ورُسوخٌ في أحاديث شمائل النبي ﷺ. تُقْرَأ في مجالس المولد والمحبّة.

عن المؤلف

الإمام يوسف بن إسماعيل النبهاني (١٢٦٥-١٣٥٠ هـ) قاضٍ حنفيٌّ فلسطيني خَدَم في محاكم بيروت في أواخر العهد العثماني. كرَّس طاقتَه الأدبيّة الهائلة للدفاع عن تراث السنّة والتصوّف ولِنَشْره في عصر التحدّيات الإصلاحية، فألَّف العشرات من المؤلَّفات في الصلوات والاستغاثة والمناقب والدفاع العقدي.
