Mahmoud Abul-Huda al-Husainy: Shaykh Mahmoud Abul-Huda al-Husainy hafidhahullah is a renowned Shafi'i scholar originally from the city of Menbij in Aleppo province, Syria. He served as the Imam and Khatib of two of Aleppo's most historically significant mosques - the 'Adiliyya mosque and the Great Umayyad mosque of Aleppo. His scholarly work spans theology and creed, as evidenced by his authorship of 'The Creed Made Easy: A Bilingual Introduction to Islamic Theology' (SP018), which presents foundational Islamic beliefs in both Arabic and English for a broad readership.
About the translator
Ali Peter Keeler: Ali Peter Keeler spent nearly ten years in the Middle East, first in Yemen and then in Damascus. Alongside teaching English, he devoted himself to studying Arabic, the art of Qur'anic recitation, and aspects of the traditional Islamic sciences. He read through several classic works of Islamic mysticism with living Sufi masters. His translation work includes co-translating Tafsir Al-Tustari, published in the Great Commentaries on the Holy Qur'an series (Fons Vitae), and translating The Creed Made Easy: A Bilingual Introduction to Islamic Theology (Sunni Publications).
