Salaam, ya'll! As a momma raising hopeful fasters and as someone who has often been unable to fast during Ramadan for medical reasons, I wanted to create a story which highlights the inner meaning of Ramadan and how, no matter our age (little kids do not fast and older kids aren't always required to fast an entire day), we might be able to partake in this joyful season.
From the Inside Flap
Sophia loves helping Momma and Grandma decorate the house and eating special food, like her dad's pancakes, for Ramadan. This year, she wants to fast for the first time. But not eating from sunup to sundown is harder than she thought! How else can Sophia celebrate this special month?
