About The Book

An elderly lion must pass his kingdom on to the next worthy successor. His young grandson embarks upon a quest to find a new king of the jungle that is fit to complete the task. With clear instructions from his grandfather, he sets out asking a variety of animals the reason why they cry.

Each animal appears to answer in a very similar way. He remembers his grandfather's words and continues his journey until he finds the one who answers in just the way he was looking for.
