This is a daily litany of forty beautiful and moving salawat and other supplications by the Imam of the Azhar Mosque, Shaykh Salih al-Ja’fari [may Allah be pleased with him] (d. 1979). The shaykhs gave an ijaza (authorisation) for all Muslim men and women to recite it as their daily litany.
