Mawlana Shah Muhammad Abd al-Alim al-Siddiqi rahimahullah (1892-1953) was born in Meerut, India, and completed the traditional Dars-e-Nizami curriculum at the age of sixteen. He earned a bachelor's degree in 1917 before continuing his religious formation in Makka and Madina. Over nearly four decades, he traveled extensively across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas, devoting his life to calling people to Islam. His sincere character, moral conviction, and deep piety drew thousands to the faith and helped revitalize dormant Muslim communities across the world. During his travels he organized educational conferences, established mosques, engaged in interfaith dialogue, and authored more than a dozen works on Islamic subjects. He passed away on 22 Dhu al-Hijja 1372 AH in Madina.
