Jamal Orme

Jamal Orme is a British Muslim author and educator who grew up in Dorset, England, before moving to London in his early twenties. While working as a primary school teacher in London, he embraced Islam in 2002 and took the name Jamal. His educational work subsequently took him to the UAE and then to Saudi Arabia, where he settled with his wife and three children. He completed the manuscript of his first novel, The Victory Boys - a children's Islamic fiction title - in April 2010, and has since written Team Spirit: The Victory Boys as a follow-up. His writing reflects his experience as a classroom teacher and his commitment to providing positive Muslim narratives for young readers.
