About
Naielah Ackbarali is a contemporary teacher, author, and coach whose work brings Islamic law and devotional life within reach of Muslim women. Raised in South Florida, she graduated from Florida State University before turning to the study of the traditional sciences. Over more than fifteen years she studied fiqh, tafsir, hadith, sira, ʿaqida, and Arabic with scholars in Syria and Jordan, and she teaches the fiqh of menstruation according to the Ḥanafi school, an area in which she is widely recognized.
She is the founder of Muslima Coaching, working as a certified life coach and trained relationship coach alongside her teaching. Her writing is deliberately practical, aimed at readers who want clear, usable guidance rather than dense legal manuals. Titles include A Muslim Woman's Guide to Menstruation Rulings and the companion Fiqh of Menstruation Simplified: A Beginner's Guide for Muslim Women, both grounded in Ḥanafi rulings; Blossom: A Muslim Girl's Puberty Guide, written for young readers approaching maturity; Ramadan Ready: Action Steps for Muslim Women; Dua Tips: Prayers and Inspiration for Muslim Women; and Secrets of Successful Muslim Couples: Marriage Tips for a Lifetime. Across these works she pairs sound traditional learning with the warmth of a coach, helping women approach worship, purity, and married life with confidence.
