About The Author

Imam Abu Zayd Ubayd Allah b. Umar al-Dabusi (367-430 AH / 978-1039 CE) was a foundational figure of Hanafi-Maturidi scholasticism. His Taqwim al-Adilla is one of the founding works of Hanafi usul al-fiqh and remains a standard reference. Born in Dabusiyya in Central Asia, he served as judge in Bukhara and was among the seven foundational jurists of the Hanafi school of his region.

"الأمد الأقصى" رسالةُ الإمام أبي زيد الدبوسي في الإيمان واليقين وأصول الاعتقاد — من أحد أهمّ مُنَسِّقي أصول الفقه الحنفي والكلام الماتريدي في القرن الخامس الهجري. يَجْسُر الكتابُ بين علم الكلام وأصول الفقه على طريقة المؤلِّف المعتادة: بناءُ التماسُك الداخلي للمَوْقِف السنّي الحنفي الماتريدي بالحجاج المُحْكَم والاستدلال الصارم بالنصوص.

عن المؤلف

الإمام أبو زيد عبيد الله بن عمر الدبوسي (٣٦٧-٤٣٠ هـ) من مؤسّسي أصول الفقه الحنفي والكلام الماتريدي. كتابُه "تقويم الأدلّة" من الأعمال التأسيسية في أصول الفقه الحنفي. ولد بدبوسية ببلاد ما وراء النهر، وتَوَلَّى القضاء ببخارى، وكان من فقهاء المذهب الحنفي السبعة المؤسّسين بمنطقته.
